a fond farewell

Farewell, diaper genie

So long, diaper drawer (what shall we fill you with now?)

It's true, folks. Mae is officially potty trained, and just a few days before her 2nd birthday. This makes for one ecstatic mommy.

yay congrats!! Taylar is definitely ready, however we are going to Disneyland in December and her doctor said not to push it too much because there is a strong chance that she will regress. So I let her go when she says it and I ask her but I'm not pushing it on her too much until after our trip. Great job though, got any advice?

Hurray for Mae, she is A SUPER DUPER POOPER!!

Fill your drawer with love, banjos, elephants, peanuts, hopscotch mats, fans, a stubborn old man, kissing ponies, dusters, lactating marsupials, hippie bottoms, or ME!!!!

see Taylar does that. She is good when she wears underwear at home and tells me when she needs to go, she knows what that feeling means. like if she takes a bath she doesn't want to go potty in the bath so she tells me and she sits on the toilet and she will tell me when she needs to poop a lot too. Its when we leave the house that we have our issues. She is too excited to tell me or too busy. Plus she doesn't go in and do it on her own, she hates her potty so she goes on our big one so she has to have me help her.
