I have a great Christmas memory. My parents divorced each other when I was 5 years old and so I have very few good memories from when they were together. The last Christmas that they were married was in 1988, they bought us a Huge Trampoline and set it up in the back yard early Christmas morning and arranged all of the Christmas gifts on it. Then when my 3 other siblings and I woke up we found only 4 big lumps of coal under the tree. My parents told us that Santa must have put us all on the naughty list and that this next year we should try harder to get on the nice list. They actually waited for like an hour while we all cried and whined before telling us to look in the backyard where we saw the new trampoline for the first time and all of our presents. It was a great joke and a good Christmas memory that I'll never forget!
I think my favorite Christmas memory is the year we did the Sub for Santa for that family in West Valley. It was such a neat way to celebrate the season and to remember what it is all about.
P.S. What is "button"?
My favorite Christmas memory was when my family and I went and delivered Christmas dinner meals to about 4 family which we also gave them gifts. It was such neat experience to see the look on those families faces. I will never forget it. I can't wait to start that tradition with my own family,
I love your new header and your pictures are adorable! Favorite memory... getting ready for my wedding right at Christmas time. It was crazy but it was a lot of fun. It just felt like the part never stopped!
I have a lot of "favorite" christmas memories since my birthday is just 3 days prior. I get to celebrate double-time...and now actually triple-time with Johnny's birthday on the 19th...actually quadruple time because our anniversary is on the 3rd of Jan. :) So Anyways, before my Uncle got sick and passed away he'd rent each family on my mothers side a hotel room at the Marriot Downtown on the 22nd of Dec (my b-day). As a family we would play and shop all day long at the crossroads mall (it's connected right to the hotel) cool. We'd come back from getting all our shopping done and relax at the pool and hot-tub into the evening! I will never forget what a bonding experience that was for my family and I, and how many memories that brought being downtown w all of the people, decorations, and the holiday cheer during the best time of the year! smile.
Okay, I think I figured it out. Hmmm...favorite Christmas memory. Probably when I got a present from Svenja from Germany and it started leaking through the wrapping so I got to open it, like, three weeks early. (It was a fountain pen) Okay, that was a lame memory, but I guess all my Christmas memories were all just fuzzy and warm and happy.
