Its Official

I am officially a member of the "I am addicted to Twilight" club. I just barely started it yesterday, and I only have about 100 pages left to go. Almost done. Now I know what everyone was raving about. SOOOO good, and I can hardly wait to start the second one! I LOVE good books. There is nothing like reading a book so addicting that you can't bring yourself to put it down.
Another series like this? Fablehaven. Just finished the first three books within two weeks. Good stuff.

welcome. a little late in joining but we're happy to have you. :) you know it's bad when you have finished the books and then you start to compile playlists of songs you hear on the radio that remind you of the books. you might think i'm crazy but you too will do it. glad you like them.

Both fabulous series'. If you enjoyed Fablehaven I suggest reading "The Candy Shop War", also by Brandon Mull. I finished it tonight at work and couldn't put it down. Also, I've been a long-standing member of the club, but not a very welcome one because I prefer Jacob to Edward.

Well, to every ying there is a yang and I'm just that. My family put me to reading the Twilight series and it seriously reminded me of the Christopher Pike books I used to read in Jr. High and Highschool. Now I will admit that her writing skills are great but all that sappy crap gets old. I liked it better when Bella wasn't so clingy to her little vampire and more independent. Then the sexual tension is a little much and over done. So I read it in two days and of course I will read the rest just to see if they indeed do get better but until then,,,I will keep painting my house. Sorry, to each his own so I just want to clarify that I am not knocking down anyone for loving the Stephanie Meyers books to the point of obsession because I have my own obsessions in other genres. Actually, I haven't read any series that I just goo goo over for quite some time. Adulthood just ruins everything. :)
